Most police officers are power gluttons. I have long been suspicious of people who WANT to be cops. I assert that the worst ones are as addicted to adrenaline as any addict they arrest.Loretta Nallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10598106614871958352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16801508.post-15379951720088512212008-03-13T10:41:00.000-05:002008-03-13T10:41:00.000-05:00I encourage you to send that letter to The Daily H...I encourage you to send that letter to The Daily Home, even The Anniston Star.

Sounds real fair doesn't it?P Papa Diddy Pophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17887976055082755193noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16801508.post-36173137309791550252008-03-13T09:30:00.000-05:002008-03-13T09:30:00.000-05:00I agree with you. It seems to me that the police force consist of aggressive people who have a primal urge to exercise their power over all, be it deserved or not. And this they can do with a clear conscience, seeing that they are "upholding the law" and obviously nobody is doing anything against it.

Seems that the Roman poet, Juvenal, knew what he was talking about centuries ago:
'Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?'Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15626391969267909336noreply@blogger.com
