It keeps me out of the hospital, and from having a crisis. It disgusts me that a fellow Addisonian passed away because he, I'm sure, was doing one of the only things that helped him...It is truly tragic that marijuana can't just be legal for people in need. I suffer regularly because it is not legal where I live, so I find myself not being able to treat it, and in the hospital. If only more people Understood the naturally amazing effect marijuana has, and more people knew about Addison's, this man would still be alive.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16801508.post-65090088225084570972010-09-06T23:46:00.794-05:002010-09-06T23:46:00.794-05:00Have you been able to find out for sure if he was ...Have you been able to find out for sure if he was smoking pot for medical reasons? Do you (or anyone else) know whether marijuana is effective for treating Addison's disease or not? I haven't been able to find ANY information about how cannibis affects Addison's AT ALL. I do know that Addison's disease tends to cause irritability, anxiety, and mood swings, and I know that marijuana is commonly credited for both treating those symptoms and aggrivating them in other people. So is pot likely to make symptoms better or worse for people with Addison's disease? If someone with Addison's disease tries smoking pot and has an unpleasant experience, is the Addison's likely to be the reason? And should that person just stay away from it after that? Or could it just be unrelated, and if that's the case is it likely to be better or worse if that person tries it again, perhaps with a different strain or something?
Addison's disease is fairly rare, and as I said, I've been unable to find anything about how it might be affected by marijuana. This is the first time I've seen anything that relates to it at all.
If you know any experts who might know something about it, could you please put an answer on here? It would really be important to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16801508.post-22994434756903009922010-08-27T05:52:23.298-05:002010-08-27T05:52:23.298-05:00I realize that we live in a liberal society, now a...I realize that we live in a liberal society, now ah days and all, but when do we get to start hanging this culture warriors, who would imprison folks for the marihuana?trizzybobnoreply@blogger.com
