My recent letter to the editor concerning Legalizing marijuana and the amount of tax revenue it would generate was published in Saturday's edition of the Alexander City Outlook.
It was also published in the Gadsden Times but hasn't been posted to the website as of this morning.

Cannabis, the SAFER
"coffee-equivalent" relaxant...
- Watched a news-story last
weekend on 60 Minutes about
something far more "dangerous" than
cannabis, which, when partaken in excess,
causes one to become a VERY LOUSY,
VERY DEADLY DRIVER. (Yet it's LEGAL!!!).
- Compared with this "something",
CANNABIS is BENIGN!!!
Why should
cannabis, the SAFER,
"coffee-equivalent relaxant"
remain villified, prohibited,
not even generating retail-sales tax-revenue,
while a stupifying, flammable solvent is
always given carte-blanc approval...???
- Based upon this...
I believe that CANNABIS should
be Re-LEGALIZED!!! As "LEGAL" as
Mentha piperita, (PEPPERMINT)!!!
Marijuana is Safer
