Thank you all so much

Well...I survived it. Not sure how but already I want to do it again. Our celebration last night was a big success. I expect to get some idea of how many people voted for me at some point today.

I am flying out to Oakland, CA today for a harm reduction conference. I won't be available by phone until late this afternoon. If you need to reach me please send me email or call me at 256-625-9599 and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

Thank you all so much for your support, love and encouragement over the last year. This is just round one.

Loretta, I'd love to know how many votes you received. You got two from our house. Congratulations on a job well done!

You have my admiration for running and for bringing some real issues to the forefront--you're a real asset to Alabama, Loretta, and I wish you success in all you do.

I hope to vote for you again--but most of all, hope to hear your courageous viewpoints on issues that need to be addressed.

I admire you for your courage and determination in your drive to do something about the many issues that continue to be ignored by the 2 main parties. I truly hope that one day, people in this country will realize that continuing to vote for the same corrupt politicians is stagnating this nation whilst the rest of the world steams ahead.

Europe beats us hands down on Health care, Education & Drug legislation. Asia is forging ahead in the Technology race and even in environmental friendly products. The US continues to dumb down it’s workforce and outsource to cheap labor markets. Big Corporations reap huge profits whilst the average salary decreases. We rage war, torture, are responsible for nearly half a million civilian deaths around the world and are the most hated nation on the planet.

We need change.. hopefully, one day the people will wake up and act before it is too late.

Take care and good luck!
Duncan.

No, Lorretta, thank you for raising the
only intelligent and honest voice in
this race. Although we are Dems and reject school vouchers, you got the
vote from my family. (When you get a count, there should be at least 5.)

I survived it as well. I hope your flight went ok. I will be looking forward to those numbers and any future endeavors you take. Because of Ralph Nader, I switched parties. Beceasue of you, I am staying in the Libertarian Party for life.

Keep us posted on your vote total. I was late in finding you, but my wife and I cast our write-in votes for you in Jefferson Co. My mother at my suggestion was going to vote for you, but she misunderstood thinking you were on the ballot.

It's a far cry from years ago, when I remember many parties on the Alabama ballot. I guess the Democans and the Republicrats have done a good job at suppressing "non-mainstream" parties and candidates.

Hey, Loretta, you have got what it takes to bring your philosophy to the BIG TIME. I am so in awe of your campaign & what you brought to the table. You definitely had MY write-in VOTE. The counting is not over, I want to KNOW how many votes you have. Keep on truckin'
