60 Minutes Investigates the Don Siegelman Case tonight at 6 p.m.

Siegelman case on on 60 Minutes tonight at 6 p.m.

UPDATE: After watching that I can say without hesitation of any kind that Don Siegelman should be a free man and that all of those who participated in his illegal incarceration should be locked up for a very long time.

Loretta,

Just count your blessings that you don't live in the WHNT viewing area so that you were able to watch the Siegelman story. WHNT showed a black screen for the first 12 minutes.

Technical error? Fantastic coincidence? Accidental on purpose swat at Siegelman's (very vocal) supporters in North Alabama?

Are you serious mooncat? That is very disturbing! Dan has the clip up over at Daily Dixie if you haven't already seen it.

I felt sick after watching what they did to Don Siegelman last night. I truly hope that a Democrat is elected in November and that one of their first orders of business is to pardon Don and set him free and that they also set about to make those who falsely imprisoned him pay the piper.

Serious as a heart attack, Honey. Apparently WHNT's phones were ringing off the hook about the "technical problem" so they decided to broadcast the Siegelman segment during the 10 o'clock news. But from 6 pm to 6:12 pm all North Alabama viewers saw was a black screen. That goes for everyone who got their feed from WHNT -- over the air, cable, DirecTV, etc.

Will there be any sort of investigation you reckon?

The Republican spin machine was in full swing the minute the segment went off. There is nothing they can say that I would even listen to anymore concerning why Don Siegelman is in prison.

SHAME!!
