The man-made Palm Island in Dubai
When watching the news recently I saw a story on the man-made islands/property developments springing up in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is the most populous and second largest emirate of the United Arab Emirates after Abu Dhabi. Dubai is distinct from other members of the UAE in that revenues from oil account for only 6% of its gross domestic product. A majority of the emirate's revenues are from the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZ) and increasingly from tourism.
There is some amazingly beautiful buildings in Dubai, like the one above. If you buy a spot in either of those buildings you get a free Jaguar with your purchase. How's that for perks?
Needless to say Dubai land is pricey for this country girl...but if you've got some change and want to live in a happening place dubai marina properties maybe just the place for you.
