Filibuster!

On one of the last remaining days of the legislative session the house has gone into filabuster. This came about because the rules committee in the house added a bill with a substitute after they had voted, agreed on and distributed the special order calendar for the day. That bill is HB787. When the calendar was called for adoption there was opposition, which led to a filabuster.

I have never listened to the house when there is a filabuster. It is quite a bunch of rambling, which so far today has included fishing for brim, milking cows and tying fishooks to the udders of said milk cows so that when they went in the water they caught fish.

WTF?

I'm not kidding. Listen to this mess.

The house will recess for lunch around noon but they will be back at 1 or 1:30.
