International Activism

Recently I traveled to Vancouver to see my friend Marc Emery and to participate in the 420 rally at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Since Vancouver is known for its 'defacto legal' stance concerning marijuana consumption many people were surprised when a city Councilor and the head of the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce advocated police violence against the peaceful crowd of 10,000 protesters for smoking pot.

Here are the editorials that appeared in the days after the 420 rally.

Vancouver Province - When Laws are Held in Contempt We All Suffer

Vancouver Sun - Public Pot Festival a Sad Display

I, of course, wrote responses to these editorials and they both appeared in today's copies of the Vancouver Province and the Vancouver Sun.

A Beautiful Demonstration Against an Unjust Law

Disobey Injustice
