So sorry to hear that, Loretta.

Although I have not posted here before, I am a regular reader of your blog, and a big admirer of yours. You say the things I often wish I could say.

I wish you strength in this time of sorrow for you and your family.

Dear Loretta,
I have just read about your brother. I am so very sorry. I lost two brothers, way too young. The loss of our respective siblings will affect us always.
I may not believe in a Supreme Being but my mother did. Before her death at 93, she spoke of ‘disappearing’ as two of her sons, a husband, and most of her friends and contemporaries had ‘disappeared’. Mom told me the warmth of our memories will keep them with us always.
Sincerely,
Gary
P.S.
Please excuse my sexism but you have bigger cojones than anyone I know. You go girl!
