Marc Emery's Prison Podcast

Marc Emery's first report from prison can be heard HERE! Please take a few moments to listen. Then write Marc a letter and send him some money.

I wrote him earlier this week and detailed the latest events in the John Alexander (Alex) Rochester case which ought to make Marc very proud and happy. When you write Marc try to make all of your words positive. Send him drug policy and activism news that happen in your town or state or that you are directly involved in.

He actually sounds in pretty good spirits considering where he is and all. I think its great he's got a few insiders looking out for him while he's in there bringing him an extra piece of fruit and what-not. I'll be mailing my letter tomorrow.

I would be glad to send a letter or 2 or 3 and a few $ so he has some canteen $ but some jail's / prisons only accept
cash and some will accept money orders does any one know what will work in this situation? I would hate for any cash we send to wind up in the hands of some lowlife cop or or the doughnut fund for some scum bag turnkey's any
info would be apprieciated

That's a really good question woodbutcher. I'm not sure what the answer is but will ask his wife Jodie and post a response here when I get one.

Thanx. There is nothing worse than sitting in the joint waiting on cash to get a pack of smokes or a candy bar or what ever your poison of choice is and being told it arrived but in the wrong form and was returned to the sender or you have a visitor but they were sent away after they drove 1/2 way across the state
because they were not dressed properly. Hopefully this wont be something we have to do for very long and he will be home soon. peace jim
