Oh how the mighty have fallen!
The Birmingham Weekly Blog Mixed Media has more juicy info on Birmingham City Councilman Joel Montgomery's arrest for public intoxication. The admin over at Mixed Media reports that a soruce from City Hall says Joel gave a performance that would rival the one recently given by Mel Gibson so the cops had no choice but to arrest him. What's really funny is that they portray him as doing just exactly what I guessed he did in the comments of this post when the cops showed up. And, apparently I am not the only one to testify that he is a belligerent asshole when he is drunk. Yes....even more of one than when sober.
