One thing that I feel was out of line was your statement that if more people masturbated that there would be less rape. Rape is NOT about sex; it's about power. Rapists wish to dominate, control, and humiliate their victims, not to gratify their sexual urges. Rape is a form of acting out against perceived or actual feelings of powerlessness or lack of control. It's not about needing sexual pleasure.
It's a common misconception, but one that I feel should be cleared up.
